Why It’s Better to Confirm Early and Join the Roar Before May 1

Applying to college is a thrilling experience for the whole family and we’re excited that your student is considering University of the Pacific.

Pacific’s College Decision Day is May 1, but you do not have to wait until then to say "yes" to Pacific. We encourage your student to confirm early and take advantage of our priority registration. Plus, your student will receive a confirmation gift!

Once your student confirms, they will be able to work with Pacific Student Life and Housing team to find housing based on their preferences. What’s more, first-year students living on campus at Pacific are eligible to apply for the new Callahan Endowment scholarship which, if granted, will be applied to their Pacific account based on need.

Parents and guardians are essential in the college search process. You can help your student make their decision by reminding them about the next steps in the process:

Step 1
Your student will need their Pacific username and password. They can find this information in their admission letter.

Step 2
Log in to the Pacific student portal and select CONFIRM.

Step 3
Follow the confirmation tutorial to:

  • Confirm your enrollment information
  • Reserve campus housing (we will send you more information and a housing placement application via email. How do I find my Pacific email?)
  • Select a New Student Orientation session
  • Pay the confirmation deposit
