Applying to college might seem like a daunting task to your student, but you can reassure them that it does not have to be that way. In fact, your student can submit their application to Pacific first and take care of their essay, letters of recommendation and resume later!
“Our application process will allow students to quickly get required questions and paperwork on the application out of the way to give them time to focus on their essay and collecting their recommendations,” says Jeff Levine, Dean of Undergraduate Admission. “We also have regular reminder emails to students letting them know exactly what they are missing in the process.”
Talk to your student about how easy it is to apply to Pacific and how we can help them throughout the process.
How to apply
- First, submit the application via Pacific Admission Application.
The regular application deadline is January 15, but if your student applies by the Early Action deadline of November 15, they will get first-round consideration for honors programs and scholarships and their admission decision will arrive by December 20. - Provide supporting documents later.
As long as your student has submitted their admission application, they can upload an essay, recommendations and/or resume at a later date. They can do so via the student applicant portal or email the documents to Pacific’s Office of Admissions at admission@pacific.edu. - Get updates throughout the admission process.
Once your student submits their admission application, Pacific will help them stay on track! We will send them courtesy email reminders about anything that might still be missing to complete the process.
Tips for a stress-free application process
- Pacific’s application process is designed to learn more about your student. Encourage them to take their time to work on their essay and resume before submitting them. Informative and well-written submissions will benefit your student throughout the application process.
- We will help your student stay on track with our courtesy reminders, but they can also refer to Pacific’s undergraduate student admission page to find admission deadlines and required documents.
